Reception, Check-in and Check-out
Please note that we do not operate a permanent reception desk on-site. Your host will arrive at the property specifically to welcome you at the agreed time. We kindly ask that you observe your scheduled check-in and check-out appointments.

Car Parking
To preserve its charm, visitor cars are not permitted within the village of Viscri. However, a complimentary public parking lot is available at the village entrance. A scenic path leads from the parking lot directly to our back garden, offering a refreshing 5-minute walk.
We kindly ask you to park your vehicle there upon checking in and return it to the property at check-out for loading. Please ensure that neighbor gates remain completely clear at all times, as blocking local access may result in local authorities being notified.
Breakfast and Dining
Please note we do not offer dining options in-house. Local dining venues, including our partner breakfast locations, are charming, family-run businesses. They prepare fresh food daily in limited quantities and operate on a single-shift basis from morning until dinner. Only exceptionally you may be able to book dinner after 8 pm. Please respect your dining reservations, as venues may not be able to accommodate late arrivals due to limited capacity. Kindly note that catering and delivery services are not available in Viscri. Reservations are recommended. Kindly do inform your host in a timely manner if you don’t show up.
Quiet Hours
To ensure a relaxing experience for everyone, guests are kindly requested to respect the serene atmosphere of our village. Please maintain a peaceful environment in both individual accommodations and shared garden areas, at all times and especially during our designated quiet hours:
- Nighttime: 10:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Smoking Policy
Smoking, whether classic, e-cigarettes or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the house. All guest rooms are non-smoking and equipped with sensitive smoke detectors connected directly to an automated fire alarm system including audio alarm and dialing settings. Guests who wish to smoke are kindly requested to do so outdoors, at a respectful distance from windows and doors.
Garden and Young Guests
To protect our green area, we kindly ask guests to use the stone pathways.
While our property is primarily designed as an adult retreat, we are delighted to welcome educated young guests aged 12 and above who understand and respect the house rules. For the comfort of all visitors, young guests are invited to play exclusively in the back garden area behind the barn. Parents are kindly requested to supervise their children at all times, as the historic property is not child-proof. Please note that ball games are not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Pets
We love pets, but we don’t really believe in having them indoors and far from home. For that reason and also to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests, we do not accept them as guests.
Antiques and Room Care
Our property is adorned with authentic antique furniture and decorations. We kindly ask for your cooperation in preserving these unique pieces.
To prevent accidental damage, we kindly request that you refrain from consuming food or drinks inside the guest rooms. Additionally, please use the designated luggage racks or the floor to place your bags, avoiding contact with antique surfaces.
